Question about Risers for the Original Step

Hi,

I recently purchased one of the original aerobic steps and it only comes with four risers. I need to purchase additional risers. The package I purchased came with the new universal risers that allow you to slant the step. Does anyone know if I can order regular risers to put underneath the universal risers to make the step higher in order to use it as a bench? Or do I need all universal risers? I sent an email to the company, but received an automatic reply that all deliveries will be delayed, so I'm not sure they are reading their emails.

it depends on the brand and model.

for Step Co. Steps, they have 2 sizes - club size and home size.

could you provide a link that shows the brand and model?

Are the universal risers grey? If so, the regular risers will fit as long as it’s for a full sized step. I have the grey risers that can be slanted, the black risers that came with my high step topper and the purple risers that came with my original step and they all fit and are interchangeable.

As long as the risers are 16 inches square and 2 inches high, they will fit your step.

Yes all the risers will fit. Last year I bought a Freestyle step made by The Step Co. It came with two regular black risers and two black risers that have the grooves for incline and decline. They all fit together. I have black risers for my high step purchased years ago but made by The Step Co., and they fit with my new risers and step. Also my old purple risers that I have for my original teal step made by The Step Co also fit with the new risers and step.
