Old thread alert

Bumping again. I've been lax on my meditation practice. If I'm going to advise folks to meditate, I need to get back to it!

(Hmm, I went in to Advanced Mode to edit the title. But it still shows the old title.)

Here is a link to a whole bunch of different meditations. I listened to one once. It was really nice.

I was revisiting some of the links in this thread and went to:

https://healthy.kaiserpermanente.org...vZ0FBIS9nQSEh/

The ones I have listened to so far are by Belleruth Naparstek. I really like her stuff. She has good ones for stress, pain and other issues.

Thanks for reviving this. I've been doing a yoga nidra type guided meditation and find that I respond well to it. Looking forward to trying more.

Thanks for this! I gave my daughter-in-law Belleruth Naparstek's CD on Pregnancy and Childbirth (which is included on this site), when she was expecting twins. She loved it and felt it was quite helpful.

Here's a link to some free yoga nidra downloads.
I can't attest to their quality, so far I've only downloaded one that worked. (could have been my error)

I've been using a FREE app called Insight Timer for meditations. I've meditated every morning since January 1st.

https://insighttimer.com/

It is great!

This morning I listened to a talk by Ana Barreto (I'd never heard of her before.) It is very inspirational for women:

I love my Insight Timer, but only have the old version on my Kindle. It does not feature the guided meditations. That said, I love the Tibetan bells timer enough on its own.

Some free channels on Youtube I enjoy are Jason Stephenson and Meditation Vacation.

How funny you revived the thread now Alta, I've been setting aside daily meditation time for a month now and it's helping so much.

I have MyCalmBeat downloaded to my Galaxy phone. there's an iPhone version too. you do breathing for 2 minutes, and you can choose the # of breaths/min. fewer breaths/min would be the goal.
