Compact elliptical trainers? Ideas? Opinions on Lifestyler ET 30?

Has anybody tried the Lifestyler ET 30 elliptical trainer from Sears? I've always heard good things about getting a post-sales service plan from them and this puppy only costs $199.00. I live in a smallish apartment and can't really afford (space-wise) to get a fancy, full-sized elliptical trainer. If not, has anyone else had a good experience with a relatively small elliptical machine? I have heard nothing but negative things about the dreaded Orbitrek...
