yes, you can. just wear your HRM during strength training and make sure you're within your personal ABB zone.
if you go to Sally Edwards webpage, she has lots of white papers about heart zone training. do a web search - she's quite famous and knowledgeable.
lots of ABB threads are also on VF - many people who have done it and continue to do it.
