Question about Yamuna Body Rolling

I just bought a YBR book and I am looking for some input and opinions from anyone who had done YBR. Has anyone used another ball besides the Yamuna ones? The book says you must have a yamuna ball. I am in Canada and the real YBR balls are not easy to get up here without spending a huge amount on shipping.

Pam-Having the balls definitely helps, though I've used the Rodney yee yoga ball and that worked pretty well.

Hi NL! Is that the ball that comes with his Yoga Ball Therapy System (http://www.gaiam.com/product/yoga+ba...rapy+system.do) or his Yoga Ball Beginner kit (http://www.gaiam.com/product/rodney+...nners+kit.do)? I have his Yoga Ball Therapy System.

Pam-I have the yoga ball therapy system. The purple ball is the one that I'm referring to.

Hi Pam,

I have both the Yamuna ball along with the book and DVD. I also have Fitball DVD and the medium sized cream coloured ball that I got from Muscle Up Canada.

Both balls are nice. The Yamuna ball is a little bit bigger than the medium ball and is smooth and more slippery and the Fitball is textured with little nubbies.

Thanks Casswoman! I might pick one of those up.
