Just B - Ball Weight??

For those who do Bernadette Giorigi's Pilates Sculpt workout that uses the weighted ball:

How heavy is the ball you use? Do you know how heavy the ball she uses is? I have a 2Lb ball, and an 8LB ball. No way I could use the 8LB ball! For one the size alone would make it very akward and uncomfortable. But I'm wondering, am I being too whimpy with a 2lb ball?

I just did this one a few days ago. What a great workout ! I used a 3# ball & I felt it plenty. I doubt I would use a heavier one for this workout, though because each exercise is done so slowly & deliberately. I wouldn't want to compromise my form just to use a heavier weight. I think a 2# ball would be a great start and you can always get a heavier one as you progress. I don't know what size Bernadette uses, but it looks exactly like the same size that I have.

I think 2-3 lbs is fine for this workout.

Oh good. I recall someone saying that Berndatte used a 5lb ball. It wasn't here though, it was another forum (can't remember which one). The ball Berndatte uses looks alot like my 2# ball, so I was thinking it's not 5#. Anyway, I thought I'd ask what others use.

Sounds like 2-3# is about right.

Thanks, I can stop feeling whimpy about not using a heavier weight!

I used my 2 lb pink firm ball (the one that came in a set of 2 w/ straps)
