I don't. But I don't use Pilates for lower body toning. Plus I have had had some near misses with hip flexor problems while doing Pilates from overrotating in the Pilates V plus have an old knee issue, so I personally would not want extra weight. Oh, and I hate using ankle weights anyway.

That said, I agree that if you want to use them, don't go heavier than 1 lb. The band and Pilates rings are very good options to increase the intensity and challenge for the lower body in a way that's more complementary to the Pilates philosophy as a whole.
