This is a great topic. I'm 58 and menopause has been kicking my booty for the past 7 years. I've settled into rebounding or treadmilling for my pure cardio days. Nothing crazy through. Just a nice bump in the HR. Enough to let me know I'm not sitting. LOL
I use much lighter weights now as well. I want to continue resistance workouts but those are the ones that can tire me out quickly. I only go for about 30-45 mins at a time.
My goals have changed throughout the years. I'm now focused more on flexibility, balance, coordination, and strength. I'm not a marathoner, or plan to climb Everest...I just want to move well and keep up with the grandkids. Since I've changed my focus, I've actually had better results. The weight is coming off (again), and my stamina is stronger.
