Anita, thanks so much for your thoughtful response! I can definitely see those advantages. When I have attended multiple in-person classes with the same teacher in a short period of time, I've certainly noticed some of that same growth. I am going to mull over ways to incorporate this myself more.

Ohh, I intended to start mine on Dec. 21 and forgot about it ... BUT I remembered last night so except for a small cheat on Tuesday's meditation (see below) I guess I'm OK. And I'll make this post my daily checkin even though it's on page 4, lol.

Day 1 Dec 21 Vinyasa class, and a solstice ritual with other yogis afterward, which included (what I will call ) a chanting meditation
Day 2 Dec 22 YogaCandi Bedtime Yoga (YouTube) and YogaCandi 4' guided meditation
Day 3 Dec 23 (Busy days with our grandson here, but I discovered that YogaCandi's old Flexibility challenge has some very short sequences, yay! And Anita, I just read your post and it's definitely something to think about. Although I take consistent live classes, I don't always feel a sense of "progression.") YogaCandi Hamstring Stretches, Blissology 2 Friday Clear Intention meditation
Day 4 Dec 24 YogaCandi Psoas and Quad, 5' Insight meditation
Day 5 Dec 25 (Happy Christmas!) YogaCandi Side Body & IT Band, Blissology 2 Saturday Head Belly Heart Harmony meditation
Day 6 Dec 26 YogaCandi Chest & Shoulders (after 645, so I was warmed up); YogaCandi Guided Mindfulness Meditation
Day 7 Dec 27 Yoga Emergency Hips with the guided meditation
Day 8 Dec 28 Vinyasa class (my regular class, but a substitute teacher - I liked her!), 11 min meditation (with Insight Timer)
Day 9 Dec 29 My own yoga for 50 minutes and meditation for 10 minutes
Day 10 Dec 30 (didn't go to class bc of ... things) Sun salutations on my own, 11 min meditation
Day 11 Dec 31 More time problems - ended up doing a few balancing poses in front of TV, 5 min meditation (technically after midnight, but...)
Day 12 Jan 1 Namaste Yoga Balance & Bend, 11 min meditation
Day 13 Jan 2 Namaste Yoga Bhakti Flow, 11 min meditation
Day 14 Jan 3 Double studio class: kundalini and restorative. Lots of meditation and chanting in the kundalini class.
Day 15 Jan 4 Vinyasa class (my favorite teacher is back from vacation; yay!), brief meditation on my own before class
Day 16 Jan 5 Sara Ivanhoe's Taste "Rest" premix, Beachbody Unstress Relax & Refuel meditation
Day 17 Jan 6 Yoga Emergency Shoulders & Arms and guided meditation
Day 18 Jan 7 Inversion Lab (live class), brief meditation on my own before class
Day 19 Jan 8
Day 20 Jan 9

I like your idea of putting all your check ins on one post. I think I will make a post to do that later.

12/23/21 - Day 3 - Yoga with Kassandra Evening Yoga Movement Day 4 - Yoga for Sleep. This was a nice hatha/yin blend. There is a down dog to half pigeon sequence but I substituted transitioning from half pigeon to holding double pigeon for the down doggy stuff. One of my goals for this sadhana is to work on my double pigeon, a/k/a square pose in yin.

It is Christmas Eve morning and snowing here. Not too bad, a nice pretty coating, but I'll have to shovel later. It was supposed to stop but it's not showing signs of letting up.

Have a lovely day.
