I ended up replacing my VHS with DVD, if I remember right. I think it may have been the first yoga I bought too! My mom bought Lilias for me and I think my next one was Karen. There's probably nostalgia mixed in but I do think it's a great practice and I need to pull it out again!

Today, I did Margaret Richards' Sculpture: Lower Body (1997). I can't even remember if I've done this one before. I was cranky before I even started, and stayed cranky. Not Maggie's fault!

I’m excited to join this check in group!! I acquired a lot of vintage workouts so I’m really happy to be able to share my experiences with others who love vintage workouts too! I’m FINALLY able to work out again so I did Disco Sweat from Richard Simmons for the first time! It was SO much fun!! I have 2 left feet but I was able to following along. It was a great steady state workout. I was in the aerobic zone for 45 minutes (Cardio for 18 and Fat Burn for 27 according to my Fitbit). I averaged a heart rate of 126 and peaked at 155. I like to use my Fitbit when I do a new workout to see the cardio effect. It was a lot of fun but I also LOVE LOVE LOVE disco!!! Two thumbs up!!!

Yesterday was The FIRM:Upper Body (1994). I'm not crazy about the warm-up and cool down. Still, it is a good, very thorough upper body workout.

Welcome Gemini looking forward to your posts!

Usually, it takes someone else's post to remind me how much I miss a particular workout.

VVFER pyramid is a goodie!

I recently enjoyed Gym styles chest and triceps superset premix but added a mobility warmup because the warmup isn't enough for me.

I will have to check and see if I have that Firm...

Yesterday, I did the upper body sections from Joyce Vedral's Dynamic Tension. She actually goes fairly slowly (for Joyce).

This is a good one to go heavy.

Yesterday, I did the upper body section of Cathe's MIS (Maximum Intensity Strength) (1998). Simple, basic moves and gets the job done!

Yesterday, I did Kathy Smith’s March to Fitness. I’d never heard of this one before but it was a nice little “walking” workout.

I’ve been so busy with work lately that I haven’t had time to workout (and the pounds have piled on ).

I’ve been adding to my DVD collection (true vidiot ) for when I finally get the chance to do something. This was definitely retro but it got the job done.

I also did the upper and lower body portions of Petra Kolber’s Streamline Strength. I’ve been working out (at least on and off) for years but had never tried any of her stuff.

I liked it (them). Nice workouts without wearing me out or putting me out of commission the next day.

Today, I did an outdoor walk (2 miles) plus the warm up, stretch, total body and core sections of Streamlined Strength.
