what DDD sale?

Hi, on the thread- what do you want?- there are many references to waiting for a sale at ddd. Are you all just waiting in general or is there a big sale coming up?

In the past Deep Discount DVD has had 20% off coupon codes available in June and November. So we're all hoping they're going to do that again.

(Just a few of the 200+ kittens that have come through our doors already this season.)

(Bear and Mitsy, two 9-year-olds I'm currently fostering because they were too scared to stay in the shelter.)

No problem with the hijack, my question was answered. I do have a problem with all these people not getting their pets spayed and nuetered for crying out loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I even spayed my expensive highly pedigreed lab (she was a gift, all of our other dogs have come from shelters).

Well, we did buy our turtle! And he's a lot of work and with all the extra stuff, tank, heater, filter, etc. etc. etc. he's darn expensive, good thing he only cost 20 dollars.

Kind of cool to watch him eat live bugs though.

ps s s we really really need a cat, but most cats are barn cats where I live and my husband knows we won't have a prey animal living outside. But oh, the mice, the moles, the pocket gophers, the foxes, the coyotes, the prarie dogs, and on and on and on. Sorry, got carried away, LOL. By the way, the hubbie swears an elk went through our property this morning and THAT would be highly, highly, highly unusual since I live on the plains and the nearest good elk habitat is about 20 miles away.

Oh, those sweet little faces

I used to volunteer at a no kill shelter. It was so sad-all the kittens would be adopted right away, but most of the older cats would be there for months waiting for homes.

I love older pets. They are much easier to take care of. Puppies and kittens are too much work! And they are soooo thankful for a good home.
