The first week of Caroline G Fuel Series is complete, and I am wiped out. Yowza. I worried it would be the same old same old like HEAT or IRON, but she manages to keep the body guessing. Caroline changes things just enough from series to series to keep me coming back.

I am liking the music only stretches from Mady Morrison. Sometimes youtube makes a good suggestion.

Thanks for the Fuel review Sandy. Doing full body workouts with Cee means less strength work with Caroline and Daniel. I feel work mostly in my upper body so did the squat marathon today - crazy! At least it was short. I didn't go heavy due to volume but did go deep on the squats. I dropped 5 lbs on the second half and did the last round unweighted because I was starting to feel it in my back. . I may try to do 1 leg day and 2-3 cardio days a week going forward.

I did Mady's Leg Stretch and thought it was really good. I've done the total body one's as well, but will look for the ones you did.

Sorry you're feeling schlumpy, but never underestimate naps. If you need one take it. Science (love science!) has shown that they have a fabulous reguvinative effect!

Feeling wiped out? OOoohhhh the dread factor you're giving me.

Are you following one of Cee's playlists ? or choosing what fits your own plan?
That instructor that collapsed on the floor - being dramatic - trying to hype up their own workout as being THAT HARD?

I've been doing Cee's 40-4-40 full body workouts and really liking them.

Caroline Girvan and Anna from growinganannas both like to sprain on the floor after their workouts. Caroline's are definitely that hard, but still, not what one should do when your heart rate is up. Remember those Cathe workouts that have a cool down and a stretch and addresses them as 2 separate things? Am I showing my age here?

I haven't managed to workout since the podiatrist appt other than some (but not enough) PT. I think just the stress and anxiety has kept me so distracted. At least I did do some clothes purging during that time and I've been working hard on my organization project. I have my workouts all organized and put away through S, by instructor name. Once those are done I'll do the multi-instructor ones and some brands that I have a ton of and want together instead of by instructor (mostly Firm and Virtual Active). So far the oldest ones I've put away are from 1985.

So, life.
Monday, did my workout, THEN drove to Sydney to pick up DD flying in from London. Flight was 4 hours late, so I didn't get home until 1:45am, instead of the somewhere before 10pm that I had planned on when I left.

So was tired on Tuesday. That evening, got a call around dinner-time that a staff member at school from my department took his own life - leaving a wife and 2-yr-old son without him.

Wednesday - school/work was a shambles as the staffer was the primary contact for advice (his major role) for the Yr 11-12 students (jnr/snr) so many were an emotional mess. Though did a 6km walk with school walkers (for those who don't like sports).

Thursday - today. More fall-out / revelations about him.

DH is still away - last weekend was his usual 2 weeks, had mentioned coming home tomorrow, but now won't be until middle of next week, so almost a month.

Have only just been able to get the required work done & walk Alice.

Oh, Helen, that is so sad about your coworker. I can't imagine how hard it is for his wife and son and all those who loved him. Praying for their peace and comfort.

Wow on the 4 hour flight delay! Hope you can catch up on some sleep this weekend. That stinks that your DH isn't coming home yet.

So Tuesday to Friday was a write-off.
Tuesday - got the news of co-worker around 7pm (before I usually jump)
Wednesday - school walking at least got me moving, rough day for seniors at school
Thursday - difficult, as unseemly revelations came out about why it happened
Friday - slothdom

Saturday - thank goodness for my buddy (this is WHY she's my gym buddy!) as did
48min, Cathe - Intensity Series - Cardio & Weights - Cardio & Compound Weights Mix

Tomorrow (Mon), have parent/teacher interviews after work, finish at 7pm but DH will be home Tuesday.... probably.

Big work day today - try to avoid working on Saturday entirely, but that really just pushes much more to Sunday (today).
