Still have achy calves from my 15000 step adventure. Getting old(er) stinks.
Today it is furnace hot outside so I restricted my lunchtime walk to a respectable 20 minutes. A cool seltzer water helped out afterwards.
Looking forward to some AMT work this evening.

CabC

Hi, ladies. I just finished 2 miles from Jessica Smith's 5 Mix and Match Miles. I'm so glad I had energy to do it after a full work day.
Cher, I'm so sorry about your son's car. I'm glad your sister has a new doctor.
Cab, we were in DC during my road trip with the grandgirlies. I got a ton of steps there, and had sore feet from all the walking.
Jane, I'm glad the shower went well. Congrats on the new grand baby.
AnMrsDe, we have lots of our youngest son's junk. After the famiky room is done we will clean that out.
ASAS, I hope your sleep improves. I'm miserable when I don't sleep.

AMD, Jane & Chrys, thanks!! it is a struggle for sure, I slept better last night thanks goodness.

AMD, congrats to your DD for their new place, how cool that your DSIL come to use your gym, has he ever tried any of your DVDs, or have you ever trained together?

Jane, glad the baby shower went well, I can imagine how impatient you guys are for the new baby to arrive! I love little babies!

Cher, sorry to hear you DS' car got backed, I hope all the repairs go smoothly. I am also sorry to hear your sister's cancer is back, I am sending prayers and healing vibes her way. I hope it goes better with the new doctor.

CabC, 15,000 steps are no joke! Waves, and don't forget to stretch those calves.

Chrys, I love your new avatar! And kudos for getting those 2 miles done!

Take care you all!

Jane, awwe a baby boy!!!! How exciting!//I have Cathe Live #352 D/L listed to buy when she has her sale....glad to hear it is a good one!

Chrys, Fortunately, I have a room designated for items to sell at my next garage sale and for storing DD's junk. Once her stuff is out of here, (4-5 more totes to go and a closet full of wedding gifts), I want to give that room a "face lift" since it'll be so bare! //Wow, schools start early there! Are the students back yet or just the teachers?

ASAS, thank you! Yes, they are excited about their new place. Last night, driving home from shampooing their carpets and more cleaning, DH & I both agreed how glad we are that our house doesn't have all those steps!! Egads, there's a lot of steps! But their place isn't a ranch like ours.//Haha, that's too funny about my DSIL using my videos! No, he mostly uses my Weider machine and weights. (He is trying to beef up so my TM or Elliptical doesn't get used either!). //P.S. Melatonin & Aleve PM do magic for me to help sleep...it is amazing how less achey I am in the morning too with Aleve. I wish I felt like I could take it more regularly...usually only 1x a week since I don't want to get into the habit.

AMD, you're welcome! It sounds like a good daily workout for your DD and her DH // You made me chuckle with your comment about your DSIL hinting about wanting your Weider machine, I don't blame you for wanting to keep it, at least he doesn't need to pay a gym membership. You should couch him! // Thanks for the tip, I may give them a try at some point, I had some Melatonin gummies in my Amazon cart, but never ended getting them before, i didn't know about Aleve PM. At least I slept 9 hours last night! // ETA: Sorry to hear your parents fell, but glad they are both doing well!

Even though we are having intense heat and humidity I still went out for a bike ride though it was shorter than usual. Just as well as the storms rolled in soon after I got back. Great timing.
Waves to all,

Two big thumbs Up to everyone on their efforts and consistent hard work on their activities, chores & workouts so far! ASAS -what's an EZ shaper pro bar?

Getting a little difficult in these parts to exert due to all the smokey air from wildfires mixed with high humidity. We are also on our third heat wave this summer. It's nuts.
Chrys, excellent work on all your de-cluttering. (I'll have get you to speak to DH. I'm of the "if you haven't used it in 16 months, sell, donate or trash" camp.) Also, with all your workouts too of course!
CabC, wow ..all of your outdoor workouts are impressive! Hope your therapy is going well.
Cher, sending ((caring wishes)) to your Sis. We truly do have to be assertive advocates for our health with some doctors. Hope things see some improvement for her. Also hoping that your vacation was what you needed.
Jane, so glad it was a nice shower and big congrats on having a new grandson to meet very soon!
AMD, hoping that your parents are recovering okay from their recent falls. That's terrible that it happened at the same time. It's good that you don't live so far away. Yes, it is tough with aging parents. Sounds like you are very on the ball with using your "new found" space and getting a garage sale going! Hope DS, DIL and kitties enjoy all the new space!

Take care Everyone. Especially those who are managing their best with pain. Waves!!

Elsie, this is it: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gxI_KcaPhRs It is a nice fitness tool, I have tried some of the DVDs and I liked them do far, one is like BodyPump which was my favorite, the Pilates one was good too. I got it at The Shopping Channel, I paid $45 and got 7 DVDs, I see now the band are fabric covered! Wish mine were too, but so far it has been working great. HTH

Hi, ladies. Two 12 hour days of schedule pickup and changes made me feel totally pounded, so I haven't done anything for several days. I have been getting steps in today. We have smoky air again, so I have a huge headache. Another wrinkle with our family room redo - we have to replace our really old aquarium, because it doesn't seal well. We also have to figure out something to put under it on the new carpet when we get it.
AnMrsDe, it's just the counselors, administrators, and office staff back right now. The teachers start Wednesday the 18th, and the students start Wed, the 25th. All too soon
Elsie, my DH was on a decluttering kick long before I was. He's so excited that I have joined him
Cab, good job with the bike ride!
ASAS, I had to update my avatar so everyone could see how big the girlies have gotten
