This intrigued me...

I was an original Barre3 lover and it’s been nearly 5 or 6 years since I’ve done a barre3 workout. I’m curious as to how they’ve changed.

Thanks for your feedback!

Dana aren't you dropping a sub though? Seems like this could be a cost effective replacement

I'm dropping 2 of them but not until the end of the year. I think I've decided to wait on this. My internet is not the best and until it gets better, it's not going to be worth the aggravation of having it freeze every couple of minutes unless I work out at 5am.

Does Barre3 have an app? I use a firestick...would I have to go to their website to stream?

Also, I LOVE monthly calendars. Do they provide a "suggested" monthly workout calendar?

I don't see anything about the firestick. Surprisingly there's an app for the Samsung TV but not the Chromecast. That's too bad because the Chromecast interface is better.

I'd also like to know about weekly or monthly calendars.

There’s 4 new workouts a week. I’ve been focusing on that and use that as my rotation. I think there are “collections” that you can also use as a rotation

You mentioned the "variety" of workouts - do they feel like different workouts? I know they will feel similar, just like every Firm workout has similar characteristics. And do they truly incorporate heavier weights? When they first started the heavier weight talk, I honestly couldn't tell a bit of difference.

I guess since I really like B3 (excluding the squats and lunges), my view on the workouts maybe a bit bias. I think with all the different equipment they use and the different instructors it does make the workout feel different. I do prefer the Strength Conditioning workouts over the Cardio Focus type. As for the heavier weights, I'm coming from a love for Pilates workouts so I'm not qualified to say if it will satisfy exercisers who are looking for a heavy weight workout. I enjoy it though!

I think it's time for me to buy a Samsung TV! I didn't realize they had a Smart TV app!

I also love monthly calendars. As momofcha mentioned, there are 4 new workouts each week and signing up for specific "collections" will put workouts in your queue like how a calendar works. If you don't sign up for a collection, at the top of the main page/"Discover" section, workouts you haven't done before will show up (shuffle through) as "Your Next Scheduled Workout".

When they first started the heavier weight thing, I thought they were still moving pretty rapidly and that it would be hard to use anything besides a light weight. Has that changed?

I notice when they use their weights for cardio then yes they are moving pretty fast. Most of the strength exercises have the weights moving for 2 counts. Hopefully someone else can chime in on their experience!
