Best and largest folding rebounder

My mother has been having some health issues so I have been staying at my parents house for several weeks. I am missing my usual fitness equipment but have been finding ways to squeeze in some workouts. My joints are not happy with their floors...

I have the 49 inch Bellicon. I absolutely love it but it will not fit in my car.

I had a jumpsport 370 but recently sold it. The surface was too small and was still not easy to transport.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the 550F, or any other suggestions you may have!

So sorry to hear about your mom’s health issues. She is fortunate to have you.
I never got my dream Bellicon, but still have my JS 370. It ‘s still going strong.
I believe there were several on here who got the folding 550 and, as I recall, they loved it. Based on my experience, JS puts out a great product.
Wishing you and your mom the best!

The B-Bounder is a very large rectangle (57"x44") that folds very easily in half. It is a softer bounce, though, than some rebounders, so it's not so much for fast movements like running. It does include the bar as well. I am able to store mine in a very small space beside my washing machine.

It's gone way down in price. It's at Amazon for $82.99: https://www.amazon.com/bOUNDER-Exerc.../dp/B085SZBL9T

I don't think that includes the DVD that originally came with the package, though. But it's great quality and I really like mine!

ETA: It looks like that listing actually does include the DVD too! Also forgot to mention that it's very lightweight, easy to carry and assemble/disassemble.

That is a great price! Are you able to get a good cardio workout on it? I used to prefer a firmer bounce so I could keep up with my Urban Rebounder workouts. I do not follow along to DVDs very often these days, so the pace is less important. Just need to keep my heart rate up!

It looks like Walmart has it for the same price, FYI

I can get a good cardio workout on it, as long as it's just continuous movement. I do a lot more side to side bouncing on this than on previous rebounders because I have the space. But you can't do intense up-and-down rapid bouncing/jumping on it. The mat isn't nearly as tight as some other rebounders, so it's definitely for a more gentle workout. You definitely aren't going to be able to do something like the URX-MT workouts on it. Basically, you need to keep your feet (or at least one foot at a time) connected to the mat most of the time. You can use the bar for leverage if you want to get some more height or a little more air between you and the mat. It works really well with Suzanne Bowen's Barre Amped Bounce DVD.

ETA: I find it's good for bounce-dancing, lol! Just put on some music and move around. There's a lot of space so you can pretty much do whatever you want!

Here's a YouTube video with a full B-Bounder workout with Bernadette Giorgi. You can get a better feel of how they are able to move on the rebounder: https://youtu.be/MQwigpRKsqQ

They show the most bouncing movement starting around the 27:30 minute mark.

Oh man, how have I never seen the b bounder? It's so large (that's good and bad!) -- how hard is it to fold up for storage?

I have a Bellicon & I’ve had a Jumpsport before. I had a b bounder for a while last year, got an amazing deal on it. I thought I’d like the larger mat & the bar for walking & barre workouts. It definitely has a harder bounce than my Bellicon & it was quite a space hog, it’s pretty big even when folded. It doesn’t have the quality of a Jumpsport or Bellicon, but it’s a decent piece of equipment for the price. If you had young kids, they’d love it too, my granddaughters definitely did. I ended up selling it as took up a lot of space & I wasn’t using it enough. I found it cumbersome to move or fold up.

I've never had a Bellicon or Jumpsport to compare it to, but I find the opposite with folding and storing. To fold, I just put my foot on one side and pull on the opposite side and it folds right up. It's a ton easier to fold and assemble than my old Urban Rebounder was It's tall when stored (it folds the long way) but it's thin when folded and it fits perfectly behind a door (so it's narrower than the paneling on the door frames in my apartment). It definitely takes up space when it's assembled, though!

The comparison is definitely based on what you're used to!
