Question though...Is Jessica's Ballet Fitness the same as her Barre Fitness? (I have Barre Fitness)
I have not heard of a Jessica Ballet Fitness dvd, maybe Bubbles meant Barre Fitness?

Linda I was going to mention Caribbean Workout with Shelly McDonald also. The DVDs are pretty much the same as what is on Youtube. The workouts are 1/2 hour TV shows, so without commercials, they're about 22 minutes long. She does all different types of exercise, some hi/lo, sometimes step, sometimes weight training, sometimes yoga or pilates, but I think most of them are cardio.

Shelly is really cute, fun and motivating. Since the workouts aren't that long, they don't seem really brutal although some of them have high impact work.

I was also going to recommend Gilad. Sort of the same thing - TV shows that are about 20 minutes without the commercials.

I used to have a bunch taped from FitTV when they were on and I also have several of the DVDs.

Does it need to be a video? I really like guided outdoor or treadmill walks (Aaptiv is good for this) on recovery.

There are also these African dance ones, but they may be a little to "upbeat" for a light recovery day.

Virtual Active has treadmill and bike workouts with guided options. Ambient has scenery ones but no guided. I like using both.

I've been using Jessica Smith's 30-minute "Fusion Walk" from her Walk On 3-DVD Super Set.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YP9gvBuT8tw

It does have walking, but also dance-inspired moves. She does balance work and range of motion exercises. I love the music she chose!

It feels great the day after a hard workout!

Linda what about some Karen Voight workouts? I have two that are pretty moderate. Quick and Slim Cardio is 28 minutes long with only 18 minutes of fun cardio. My notes on the back of the DVD say "moderate work, quick and fun".

Also Sleek Essentials includes 3 20 minute workouts. My notes say "moderate work, strength workout has very little legs, cardio is mostly low impact".

And finally, what about doing just 1 or 2 sections of the 10 Minute Solutions workouts. I think you said you have some of those. I find some of them are pretty intense, but maybe you could pick a couple that are easier for your active recovery days.

Oh, and I really think you should try some of the Shelly McDonald workouts on YouTube. I had forgotten how fun she is and the outdoor scenery is great. I saw there was a rebounding workout, might have to do that one. But not today.

So, enough procrastinating, I need to get to my workout for tonight.....

I agree with Pam . Yoga Booty Ballet DVDs are perfect for recovery days.
