Oh and as for what works, what prettyinpink said. Hip thrust variations with progressive overload plus band abductions and maybe some single leg work. Work on your mind muscle connection, it's super important with glute development I've found.

I do like my wider fabric bands, but I don’t think they are necessary. I started with a cheaper brand from Amazon that I still use sometimes, but either I got stronger or the elastic stretched out after a while, probably a little of both.

I sometimes use Rogue shorty monster bands. They are 12”, so a little smaller than some bands.

I haven’t tried the Arena bands but I like Glute Loops which are a similar price. There are two sizes, 13” and 15”, if that helps you compare with other brands.
