I do this at work as well. It has to be a pad of paper, not a notebook. Because notebook, computer, your phone you have to open, look, search. A pad of paper is right there in full view. At work I do my list on Friday for the next week, sometimes having to tweak it when other things come up. The marketing person does it daily using a legal pad and after everything is crossed off she rips off the sheet and throws it away. Also on Friday's I do this at home for the weekend stuff. I work Saturdays but I can get things done before and after. I always hope by Sunday night everything is done.

I will tell myself I only have to do 10 minutes of a workout and then I can quit, but I never do quit. Once I get 10 minutes in, I always want to finish the workout.

I use a Dayplanner for my list. I don't throw away each day's list. I like going back & seeing really productive days where I was able to mark everything "done!". I also like seeing what I don't get done - noticing the patterns and deciding what I can change to get those items "done" too.
