I had no idea about his older sister. How tragic for the family.

I also keep reading about how kind he was. What an amazing way to be remembered. I hope he knew that people thought so much of him.

Bob's sister who died at 47 had scleroderma, and Bob did a lot to raise awareness and funding for that illness in the years since her diagnosis and death. A friend was diagnosed with that a few years ago and I owe most of my knowledge about it to Bob Saget.

Very, very sad. Way too young. I was truly stunned at his passing.

He directed a TV movie in 1996 about a woman dealing with Scleroderma based on his sister:

My mom died from this disease. The movie is well done, but very, very hard to watch.

I didn't know this about your Mom, Alta, and about Bob Saget's sister. My cousin died from it as well.

Meatloaf passed at the age of 74. He was one of my favorites and seen him in concert.
