Fitness and weight loss podcast recommendations
I did a search but can't find dedicated threads for this, but does anyone have favorite fitness and/or weight loss podcasts? I'm currently trying to stay very focused and motivated in terms of both fitness practice and food things, and because I have a very long commute, podcasts are a great tool for me. I recently resubscribed to Jillian Michaels' podcast and like the new format she's using, although not everyone episode is fitness-related, so I'm also trying out Chalene's podcast (although she's also trying to get people to not try to get fit unhealthily, so that's a very specific focus). I tried Pahla B's podcast for a while but it's not fitness-focused enough, and I found it somewhat boring. I'm trying out Cookie Rosenblum's "Weight Loss Made Real," and like it so far. I used to listen to "Cut the Fat," but because one of the hosts is a bodybuilder and I'm not really into that, it felt a little irrelevant at times.
Any others I should try? I do want it to be more often specifically about fitness and weight loss rather than a more general motivation/self-help show, although a little of that is certainly to be expected.
My main issue I'm trying to tackle is staying motivated to keep to d*et stuff, tbh, plus feeling more energized and motivated to work out. I'm pretty consistent with my workouts but tend to procrastinate them late in the day, and I want support for knocking them out earlier so that my day's overall calorie burn has a chance to work in my favor.
I currently have about 40 lbs. to lose (it sort of snuck up on me during the past year due to inconsistency), but I'm also an advanced exerciser and know all the stuff I need to do; I just need the friendly reminders to keep me on track.
