I did 50 min on the mill and some shrugs and upright toes from Boss Band total body. My half marathon is in 3 weeks.

I saw a post from Cathe on FB that they are starting to film today and this weekend I think. There was a cute pic of Cathe and crew in black hoodies with BOSS on the back. Cool!

Vannie a high of 66 sounds wonderful! Do you have colorful autumn leaves?

It’s still hot here but we should get some relief next weekend.

Karen, at first I thought you did 50 MILES on the treadmill! Better clean my glasses! The leaves are just starting to change so still mostly green everywhere. I don't think it reached 60 today and I'm actually chilly in the house right now, but I was moving around all day again so didn't feel chilly still I stopped all the moving.

Gibbee messaged me the other day so I’m sort of copying what I told her here so I don’t have to type it all again. I haven’t posted because it’s just so much to type and nothing much has changed and I hate to just keep complaining to everyone.

Everything is still about the same with my sister. It’s so unbelievable. Her doctors basically do nothing for her. She still has the infection, her incision is awful looking and is not healing and she’s in a ton of pain. She still is hardly doing anything.

She finally had an appointment at Cleveland Clinic on Wednesday. (It’s about 4 hours from her house). Her BF (Jim) took her down there. This was with a plastic surgeon/wound specialist. Jim said they did a lot of examining and testing and said that my sister still has an infection and the wound is a mess. They have to get my sister’s CT scan and MRI that she recently had at the hospital up here and get them down to them. When they get them, he will get with a team of doctors and come up with a plan to help her. He told her most likely more surgeries to clean out the infection. First step, clear the infection, then probably some type of plastic surgery for the wound area, then figure out healing process. She was happy they have suggestions and should be able to help but upset because it’s basically like starting over with all this again.

Joseph got his 3rd Infusion on Monday for the Ulcerative Colitis. We thought it was starting to work when he had the second one but now we don’t think so. It’s only a little bit improved. We have an appointment with his doctor this Wednesday.

As far as exercising. I’ve been trying start back to exercising this week. Cathe’s Add-Ons from her Basic Step dvd and KCM’s Pump from Cardio Pump are my “go to” weight workouts right now. They about kill me right now! I’m so out of shape and up about 10 lbs. over my WW goal. Ugh. I’m trying to be back to counting points again too.

At least we have gone up to the cabin a few times. My mom doesn’t like to drive on the freeway so I’ve been taking her up there. Sometimes with Darrell or with Joseph and sometimes both. I did get to go last weekend just me & my mom and it was so nice. (Except still seems weird without my dad). We even did get my sister up a few times but it’s hard on her I think.

Hope you are all doing well. I will try to post more regularly now that I’m trying to get back into exercising again but who knows.

Cher I am so sorry to hear that your sister still has the infection and is in pain. I am glad you have been able to be a support to her. Hopefully the Cleveland Clinic can help her. Good for you for starting back with some exercise.

I did my longish run on the treadmill yesterday. Just could not face getting up early to run with friends. Resting today.

Well we might have a hurricane mid to late week. We’re tuning in often to the weather channel. Thank goodness earlier this year we got a whole house generator which hooks into our natural gas and will keep us supplied with power. We also had a huge tree taken down. It was pretty close to the house.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. It was about 60-65 degrees here this morning. Nice!

My sister is in the hospital again. She was at her BF this weekend (he lives an hour from her). He said she was very tired and lethargic again today so he ended up calling an ambulance to pick her up so they wouldn’t have to sit for hours in an ER waiting room again. They took her to University of Michigan hospital so maybe this will be a better place than that stupid @ss Detroit Hospital. Her BF was there until 4:45 this morning from 6:00 last night. He said they admitted her and are running a lot of tests.

Cheryl, it's good to hear from you. I'm so sorry about all your sister is going through. Praying she can get some answers and especially some help and relief this time. Praying for Joseph as well.

I totally get not feeling like posting. But sometimes it can also be a nice distraction from situations that are hard or stressful. Being able to talk or read about a different topic can sometimes provide some relief. Just a thought.

I have my annual eye exam today so I need to get my butt in gear. I'll try to be back later.

Drive by: Good morning all! The HVAC folks are here fixing the coil on my less-than-2-months-old A/C unit. Have been without A/C for almost two weeks. It seemed to struggle since the new unit was installed. They even recharged it over a week ago and it didn't even cool the house below 74 for one day. Been 78+ in the house and it has been uncomfortable. But I am so happy they will get it fixed this time.

Other than a lot of walking, no real workouts. My motivation wanes when it is too hot in the house.

Cher: I hope things are improving. Such challenging times for your family.

Karen: Be careful with the storms!

Vannie & JBliff: Hello!

Cathe's new series:I cannot wait to see how Cathe's new series turns out. I hope she does some workouts at a controlled pace. The new set looks amazing!
