Need some round butt advice please

I just finished a month of Slim in 6/Slim series and my thighs have slimmed down a little (my BF even noticed! YAY!)

But now I've noticed I have a square butt (which I probably always did). I don't know what the "shelf" is that people refer to when talking about the "Spongebob Butt" but the sides of my butt are flat.

I want to put together a rotation to get a round butt. Please give me your suggestions of what has worked for you and using the DVDs I have, I'll be able to throw something together! Thanks!

You need to look into Bret Contreras "the Glute Guy." He has lots of articles on his site and some training programs, like Strong Curves.

I've been doing HDM Glutematics for about 3 weeks now - changes are happening!

I second Glutematics. Ballet Beautiful also does fabulous things for my butt.

Is that a DVD or a streaming workout?

So glad to see that someone actually wants a butt . I hope Sharaz chimes in. She is my go-to for butt advice. She started a checkin for it actually.

Do you want to reduce body fat on your butt staying the same size or do you want more meat/muscle?

I need to reduce butt fat (just a few pounds) and probably add more muscle so it looks round! The sides from from my hip bone to the top of my outer thigh are just completely flat (hope that makes sense)

I strongly second Bret Contreras. His site is a wealth of info on the glutes and all the variations on working them. He gives advice on how to train them effectively. He also has a book out, but his website is free and very, very extensive. Plus, he looks at everything, its not just a "lift heavy or go home" web site. Another plus, is I see now in all the magazines that he has influenced how people train their glutes, given how popular the hip thrust has become, which was a variation I had never seen until Contreras started advocating it.

If you haven't seen it yet, be warned that in his older articles there are some almost NSFW pictures. He has really toned that aspect down lately now that he is a lot more serious. Possibly because he is working on a PHD. Guess he'll be known as Dr. Glute or Dr. Butt, then
