Suzie, I have Ultimate Calorie Blaster (which does use the transfirmer) & Fat Blasting Cardio (which could use the transfirmer) & would like to send them to you if you want them. They've been just sitting on my trade list.
Let me know if you'd like them. Lisa

Any of the original Firms (classics) or the BSS1 and BSS2 series (along with BSS3-4) will work with the Transfirmer. The Transfirmer will work in place of the "short step" or "tall step" boxes.

As it happens, I have both (FL and Transfirmer) and tend to prefer the FL because it's less of a space hog, and just pull the Transfirmer out when I use BSS3/4 workouts. However, it's a great solid piece of equipment, and I'd use it all the time, for everything, if I didn't have the FL!

My cat prefers the FL but I think you get more use out of the Transfirmer.

I have a transfirmer from just about when they stopped selling them--I had a hard time finding it. I love it, though I really don't use the workouts very often. At the time it was the best deal I could find on a sturdy step, but I mainly use it as a bench or step (it is probably one of my most used fitness equipment items). I don't think I would pay $140 for it though!

Geez, I've been looking on FirmDirect daily and on THE DAY that I dish out lots of cash for a second-hand transfirmer, I see this!

http://www.firmdirect.com/firm/p/TransFIRMer-2012.html

Sheesh! It was not there the day before or even a few hours before i made my purchase. Ah well. This looks more like a fanny lifter than a transfirmer, don't you think?

I'm excited--I've been looking for a fanny lifter! not sure I want to pay $60 for it, though. BTW, I loooove those shoes in your avatar!

If I didn't have the Transfirmer I would pay $140 to get it - I no longer use the workouts much but I use the TF for everything except official step workouts - It stays in my workout room where it doubles as a table, a stool to sit on, a workout bench, inclined or regular for Cathe strength workouts, and probably other things too I'm not even thinking of right now.

I also have a high step in the room but rarely use it. I have a regular step I use for Cathe's step routines.

I kept the Fanny Lifter for years and think it's a great piece or equipment but finally gave it to the Humane Society thrift store as I just never needed it.

If you click on more accessories and scroll down to the 'Transfirmer' it says it was previously known as the Fanny Lifter. That's definitely what is shown in the picture. Yet they say you can do all their workouts on it - I don't see how it could be turned to hook onto the middle like the TF.
