Exercise bands, Tubing

I should replace the one I have. I have been using it alot for Tapout Out. Any recs for a good one? I don't want a loop just a cable with handles.

I like the Thera-Band in a box since I can make bands as long or short as I like. I use the band with these handles which are easier on my hands than holding the band and also less likely to slip.

I've decided never to use these after Senator Reid lost vision in his eye and some young athlete lost his eye recently when the band snapped.

videofit that is my concern as well, I find myself cringing when I use them at times. I envision that happening so I close my eyes alot. Plus I question if the bands are working me as good as weights? I wonder if using them w/out the handles is safer.

I agree that was scary, videofit, but I also think that accidents can happen with any exercise equipment. I've used bands in ramping class for years now and we break a lot of them, but when mine snap, the ends float down - there is no snap back with the ends.

It is very scary for sure, but most of the sad accidents I've seen have been with the wall/door attach; the ones covered with fabric could be a great option too.

My favorite has been the one that came with the Leslie Sansone Miracle Miles.
It is easy to adjust and does not dig into my back like others.

The same Golds Gym band costs $18 at Walmart but not sure if they still sell it.

horsemom, I like that too! Looks perfect. No handles to snap off yet you can still hold it. Very interesting! Thanks guys for the input

LAC, Now they look good too!
