Beth & Pat - I’m curious about Lift with Cee. How many times a week do you do her strength workouts? Right now I’m doing four strength workouts a week, 30-45 min. That’s my limit, more would be too tedious, lol, and I need to maintain my cardio, yoga, and Essentrics to feel good. Most are full body, but this week I’m doing 2 full body & 2 split sessions.

Pam, when I was doing Cee's routine I usually got in two or three a week. I'd love to focus on all weights, but like you I need to do so many other modalities and have so much time to do them.

Beth, I never subscribe to any comments at VF. When I come to VF, I just click on "Today's Posts" and then read the threads I'm interested in.

Pam, I'm doing the Beginners rotation 3x/week; I think with some of her routines, she recommends 4x/week.

Here's a post with details from another VFer on the Lift with Cee thread:

*30 minute walk every day for movement
*2 to 3 FB weights each week followed by 10 to 20 minutes cardio (total workout less than 1 hour)
* 1 higher interval cardio session each week.

She has some really excellent content on TikTok

Pat I think the 30-minute Beginners series make it easier to get in 3x/week.

Paine, I was talking about responding to threads. Maybe it's not set up that way for everyone, but when I respond to a thread, I'm automatically subscribed to get email reminders of new posts to that thread (which is how I keep up with things here!).

Todays workouts:
~BellyFit: Sacred Heart
~Jessica’s Split Session Strength: Lower Body Build to Burn - I really like this one a lot! If I had done it before I started doing regular strength workouts back in Feb, I think I would have found it daunting. But it was very doable and I felt nicely worked out.
~Lower body focused stretch

Beth & Pat - Thanks for your input! I think I’ll look at a Cee rotation in the fall. I’m away off and on for the next few months so I’ll be doing a lot band workouts when I’m on the road.

Waves to all!

That’s what I do too. I don’t want more emails, lol.

A quick good morning - DS is coming today and will be spending the night, so I need to be getting myself organized.

Friday:
AM stretches (I'm liking my in-bed stretching routine)
BFR weights: chest and back
PM:
HIIT with Cubii - 7 cycles of all-out pedaling x 90 seconds with 30-45 seconds of rest in between

Checked on the osprey nest this AM - mom was feeding the chicks. Looks like a nice morning in Pat's area.

Hope everyone has a good week-end.

Today I'll be doing batch cooking for the week and house chores.

Beth, your evening Yin Yoga was very relaxing--thank you so much!

Paine, I'm so glad you thought so!

Cyana, enjoy the day with your son; I'm sure it will be bittersweet.

Pam, I still need to do Kate V's night practice, but I did her Morning Flow yesterday, and it was very nice.

Happy Saturday all! It's a beautiful, clear blue sky day here - and a hot one.

Today was a rest day for me, just a nice long full body stretch this afternoon. We had a late night last night, a dinner and presentation ceremony celebrating DS2’s graduation from his family medicine residency. We got to meet his mentors and his fellow graduates and their families. A good time was had by all!

Cyana - I hope you have a good visit with your son.

Beth - I look forward to your new yin practice, it’s on my agenda for tomorrow.

Paine - You are so organized with your batch cooking!

Waves to all!
