Hi all,

I was checking out th P90X site and the forums at BB...do we really need the pull up bar/tower??? I was reading some posts where they said you could use bands...(plain old resistance bands?) I don't wanna get it if you need that big old thing! Any thoughts?? The link is below, I also pasted the thread down below...

http://beachbody.infopop.net/3/OpenT...7&m=8332918357

Chest & Back -- 53 minutes -- pull-up bar or bands, chair, dumbbells or bands, push up bars

Plyometrics -- 59 minutes -- mat, chair

Shoulders & Arms -- 60 minutes -- dumbbells or bands, chair

Yoga -- 1 hour, 33 minutes -- mat, yoga blocks

Legs & Back -- 59 minutes -- dumbbells or bands, pull up bar or bands, chair

Kenpo -- 59 minutes -- heart rate monitor and a drive to kick some butt!

Stretch -- 58 minutes -- mat, yoga blocks

Core Synergistics -- 58 minutes -- mat, weights, and a plastic plate, cardboard or towel (I am intrigued)

Chest, Shoulders, & Triceps -- 56 minutes -- dumbbells or bands, push up bars, chair, and a plastic plate, cardboard or towel

Back & Biceps -- 52 minutes -- dumbbells or bands, pull up bar or bands, chair

Cardio -- 44 minutes -- chair, mat, yoga blocks

Ab Ripper -- 16 minutes -- mat

The numbers are rounded up here. I left out needed equipment such as "wall." And as always, we need some water and a towel. I'm glad to see so many workouts require chairs, so I know we'll be sitting around resting a lot. (I'm kidding.)

I used Ebates for a 15% discount, plus got a 20% discount reward from Beachbody because I had purchased a previous product (Slim Series!) That will bring the total down to just under $140 (including shipping, tax, the replacement guarantee that I added - no supplements tho!) Not bad for 12 workouts!

The trailer looks so good!! I'm so tempted. $140-$150 seems like a lot to shell out but it's really not considering there are 12 workouts.

Re: P90x coupon code

Geez! I didn't know about this 20% off discount from VF. And I have already ordered around 4 sets for me and as presents in the past. Thanks for the info. Does this BVST code have an expiry date or none?

Ya know...

I'm very interested in this set.

I already have all the equipment we would need. But, I believe I can wait.

For the reviews.

And for the possible (inevitable?) shipping/customer service/billing foul-up posts.

I wish BeachBody wasn't such an unreliable company. I'm sure I'm not the only one holding back!

single payment?

Is it possible to just make a one-time payment for the full amount, or do we have to do the 3 payments option? I don't like the idea of my credit card being repeatedly(sp?) charged.

Debbie, did you still order?

I read over at Ya-ya's about http://www.butterflymall.com

Butterflymall gives 20% rebate on beachbody while ebates and fatwallet give 15%.

Accdg to Tomkovich, butterflymall was mentioned along with the others in the March issue of Money magazine, so he's not worried that it's not legit. They said it's new but it's already partnered with 500 shopping sites.
