New Leslie Workout ... Let's Walk! 4 Mile Power Walk

I checked the last few pages and didn't see a thread about this. There's a clip now at Collage and the "due date" has been moved up to July 2 (IIRC it was in August the last time I looked). I'm on such a Leslie jag right now I would probably order it even if the set was in someone's garage with "Jeremiah was a Bullfrog" (my all-time least favorite song) playing continuously, but this looks pretty good. The set is the one she's had the last couple of workouts and it looks like she alternates between a group of walkers and solo. The gimmick is "power surges" where she boosts the walk with hip swishes and other non-traditional Leslie moves.

I keep trying to talk myself out of this one! I have so many Leslie workouts, it is just silly! I will probably end up buying it, though.... I need to go check out the clip, thanks Hilary!

I am so getting this! I am of the camp that one can never have too many Leslie DVDs in their collection; I find the difference and benefit in each and every one!

I love her workouts and from what I was reading either on her blog or facebook page you can do the two-2 milers individually or combine them for 4 miles... she was planning on making this a programable workout.

I'm a Leslie nut. With the exception of Walk Eat Lose, I have all of the DVDs and love them so very much. It's Spring/Summer now and I'm usually outdoors walking sooking up the sun. However for some reason, I'm addicted to her workouts which is very abnormal for this time of the year. I'm going to purchase it, but I am going to wait about 1-2 weeks after it's released. The last few took major price drops on amazon around that time.

Yes, I'll probably get it too. As much as I enjoy outdoor walking, the humidity is building up now and I usually try to avoid being outside once the dog days arrive. A nice, brisk Leslie in my cool basement sounds perfect.

That's funny you hate "Jeremiah was a Bullfrog" so much you'd mention it. I can't say if I like it so much or not, I guess it's one of those songs for me. My least favorite song that's in an exercise video is "The Pina Colada Song" in Cathe's IMax 2.

I like the description of ths workout, but I don't know how I feel about the clips. I don't like the hip swishes that much, I wish it had jumping jacks. I am on a Leslie kick these days, I have been doing her workouts almost every Monday after work. I like that she offers good workouts with enough aerobic minutes. I can make her workouts fairly intense if I want, but I mostly use them for "lighter" day workouts--but I still get a decent workout. I'd like her to add some more moves like v-steps & maybe back lunges.

I am wondering if Collage will drop their price when it gets closer to the release date. I know I preordered her last one, the Ultimate Walk, from Collage after they droppped the price to $9.99. I am thinking they probably charged those who preordered when the price was listed higher the same price. I might call & ask them.
