Today I did 3 short Lift with Cee workouts:

20 Minute Strength Workout #3 (5/8 lb dumbbells)
10 Minute Balance and Control Deep Core Workout
10 Minute Strong Core Workout

My max weight is 5/8 lb dumbbells -- even when lifting with 8 lb dumbbells, I'm very prone to injury and need to be careful. (I'm a very petite, small-boned woman.) Anyway, I loved these 3 short workouts -- no dread factor, and love the music that Cee uses in her workouts. And, she has such a pleasant voice.

I browsed thru her library on YT, and noticed she has a beginner strength program. I'm not a beginner, but I think I will try these workouts in the near future.

She's lifting weights in her bare feet! Yikes! Now I know that if you drop a heavy dumbell on your foot with shoes on, it will hurt, but not nearly as much as dropping one on a bare foot. I always wear shoes unless I'm doing Pilates or Yoga.

I always lift and do kettlebells barefoot.

The fourth one is up! I'm looking forward to doing it later today.

I guess I'm too much of a klutz to take the risk. It doesn't happen very often but I have dropped a dumbell a time or two.

Trying to figure out how to work these into my schedule since I'm doing weight work every other day right now. I currently do 30 min weights preceded by 30 min pilates and 60 min of pilates on the off days. And with an injured foot improving I need to start adding in cardio. Hmmm. One more of her 30 min FB workouts to go.

This is on my radar for January when the possibility (not a sure thing yet) that my life may get even busier than it already is.

She seems more approachable than Caroline Girvan so I'd like to give it a whirl.

For those of you following the program. If you fit in cardio, how do you do it? Do you do it before or after her workouts. I know that if I lift heavy (for me) that I don't have much energy left for a good cardio workout. I find I need cardio, not just for my body, but to clear the cobwebs out of my head.

I think the best option is alternating cardio and strength days. Perhaps with the 20 min workouts (and 4 min are warm up) before would work as a warm up. That's how I did it. Right now I'm getting less cardio in and put it wherever I can.
