Kate that’s amazing that you could have DOMs after a non-weight workout, especially for how heavy you lift. I love how Cathe can come up with so much variety and intensity.

Kim: I have always heard if you shake things up and mix your workouts you get better results. I always lean towards heavier weight workouts so when I do something metabolic or unweighted, it shocks the muscles. I like it!

Today I went back to Les Mills-land and did Body Pump 56 which is from 2005. Has my fav Mike McSweeney leading. He was superb. I like Glen O. ok but Mike was the best and hot stuff if you ask me!
The tons of reps make it a lower weight workout but oh so good. Lots of energy, great tunes and burn!

Ready for some Yin this afternoon and then hubby and I are going in for our 2nd Covid boosters. Justin gets his tomorrow.

Hope you're all doing well. I hate to say it, but its been snowing here in MN!
At least its above freezing and melting fast. Sigh..........

Hi Chicks! Happy Hump Day!

I thought I was going to do Caroline Girvan EPIC II, but then I found a 6 week rotation on 2 Lazy 4 Gym and decided to try it. And now that I’ve done some of the EPIC HEAT workouts, I’m thinking I might switch to that rotation. Squirrel!!!!!!!!

Fri - Walk/jog 6.0 miles
Sat - EPIC HEAT Day 39 Total Body
Sun - Turbo Sport 1
Mon - EPIC HEAT Day 1 Lower Body
Tues - Turbo Fire HIIT 20 + EPIC HEAT Day 46 Upper Body
Wed - #MBF Day 18 Core Circuit

Quick check in.
Taking off early today to take Justin to get his 2nd covid booster and then I told him I'd help him do some house cleaning. Isn't it always more fun to clean someone else's house?

Today I did Body Attack 72. It's older and Lisa is 9 months pregnant!! Of course she totally modified the whole thing but was still drenched in sweat. Very inspiring. I did a mix of higher impact with the lower. It was great. I was drenched too.

Howdy! This week has been super busy. Life will be much easier once my daughter gets her driver's license (hopefully this summer!) We live out of town and it is a 30 minute drive from our house to her school. Luckily, my husband's office is near the school.

I have been hitting the Cathe ICE workouts and finished up my second week of them today. I haven't planned out what I want to do next, but will probably do some faves over the next few days.

Malinda: Love your squirrel comment! I think I am one of the few people on VF who have yet to try out Caroline Girvan.

Kate: Lisa is an incredible athlete! Hope the house cleaning was satisfying. I am sure Justin appreciated it.

Kim: I can relate to exercise ADD, but I also like following a rotation so I don't waste time deciding what to do, which can be very time-consuming as I have a large workout collection, LOL. I have about 2 hours to set things up, work out and shower each weekday, and I want to make it count! Of course I could always add on a walk or yoga in the evening, but I usually don't.

Winter is back . We got a few inches of the white stuff over the weekend. Kate, did you get any in your neck of the woods yet?

I was busy on Saturday driving my daughter to all her activities and I was feeling quite tired, so I didn't work out. On Sunday I did Cathe's Crossfire. Yesterday was a day off for our school and I did BodyMax 2 and vacuumed the house. Today I plan to do some BodyCombat.

So I did a separate post above with workouts so I didn't get an error.

Hi Jules..I can't believe you and I both did Crossfire. I was always afraid of it but I did the less impact version and made it through. Kinda proud of myself

Malinda I'm in the middle of a rotation and am already coming up with the next one.

Kate no snow here but LOTS of rain. My plants are happy. I love mixing in bodyweight workouts with regular strength. Makes things SPICY!!

HI Kim!! are you still on your VHS vintage voyage?

Hope everyone had a happy Easter! We had a nice, low-key day. We woke up to several inches of fresh snow! I ate an obscene amount of mini Cadbury eggs with the candy shell. Then, my husband made us homemade ramen with grilled pork belly and steak. Yum.

Sat: Cathe's Drill Max (modified out some of the impact)
Easter: Off (played Beat Saber)
Today: Cathe's Lower Body Blast (Still plan to do some yoga later)
