Beth - I changed the color to blue for Halloween to go with my costume. Yesterday, I put pastel blue and teal highlights in. I didn't leave it on for long, so it hardly shows.

I might add more after my haircut today.

I haven't seen a difference either.

My latest beauty routine is all about my nails and cuticles.

A while back I got a glass cuticle pusher doodad (Germanikure Glass cuticle stick) and a curved glass nail file, and was so impressed at the way it helped clean up my manicure that I've kept experimenting with other things. Got some Onsen cuticle cream, mostly because I was curious about the tube applicator (love it, so easy, smells very nice) and have been very happy with it.

I've realized it was almost time to buy more clear polish for my nails, and as I was researching things, found The Salon Life youtube channel and totally got sucked in to learning more.

That, naturally lead me to finally buy some camellia oil for my hair and skin (love it!) and to keep exploring.

I've always heard that warm oil soaks can do good things for your nails and cuticles, but I never bothered to try the technique til now. I decided to use this as a chance to experiment, so I got a big jug of jojoba oil (much cheaper than the unit cost if bought in smaller quantities).

It's only been a week or so, but I'm really impressed! The warm oil soak is soothing, and I enjoy the way I can make it a bit of contemplative self care.

My next adventure will involve mixing up my own blend of oils for the oil soak.

On the other hand, I've been on the hunt for an IRL/local source for the Blue Cross cuticle remover, and have had no joy. I see it online for a much inflated price, but am resisting the urge to buy any at that price point.

I use the Oil-Reducing Cleanser and 2% BHA Gel Exfoliant twice a day and then the Ultra-Sheer Daily Defense SPF 30 in the morning and the Invisible Finish Moisture Gel (with niacinamide and hyaluronic acid) at night.
