Question Walk On: 5 Fat Burning Miles bonus workouts

What are your thoughts on the bonus Strong Feet & Ankles and Strong Knees & Hips workouts on the 5 Fat Burning Miles DVD?

It's been a while since I've done either of them. I remember liking them just fine. My only problem is that oftentimes, after doing 5 Miles, I don't have much time to do another 15 or 30 minutes. Time is usually the issue for me.

Yes, I agree. I was just thinking about it from the point of them being effective. I have noticed that I do better when I include stretches in those areas. Sometimes a full body stretch doesn't include feet and not enough hip stretches, etc.

It's been a while since I've done these, too. However, from what I recall, these workouts are based on physical therapy exercises and I remember doing them and finding the exercises to be very familiar because I have had p.t. for both ankles/feet and knees. I remember thinking that my physical therapists would approve of these workouts.

I don’t have this dvd ( have so many of her other walking dvds), but I didn’t know it had the hip and knee segment. I see she has something for knees on YouTube, but has anyone seen one for hips?

Last night I decided to do the hip add on from this DVD. I don't do floor work and she went to the floor pretty early on in this one. Since I wanted something for my tight, sore hips I decided to do one of the 4 Targeted 15 Minute Workouts on Essentrics The Ultimate Stretch Workouts. I will stick with this one. It felt really good and I am less sore this morning. Also, there is a 15 minute Unlock Feet Ankles and Calves on this DVD that I will have to look at again.
