As much as 2020 dragged for most of the year, this year seems to be flying by. I can't believe it's already March.

Sorry for not checking in more often, but my laptop is hit or miss right now. It has started freezing up at times and other times I don't have any problems at all. I do read and keep up with VF on my phone, but it's harder to post from there.

My steps are still pathetic.

DH & I finally made it up to the condo this past weekend. He tightened the valves under the kitchen sink (DD had found a slow leak a few weeks ago but didn't have the right tools to fix it and DH wasn't sure if he was going to need to replace the fixtures or not) and changed the batteries in the smoke detectors. We also got DD's FASFA completed and she printed some tax info I needed regarding her college expenses. I'm planning to take everything to the accountant this week so we can get our taxes done.

My dad has competed his Covid-19 vaccinations and my stepmom has had her first shot. We're still not eligible yet. Our mask mandate ends today, they are recommended but not required, and businesses can reopen fully. Sporting events are still limited, but it has increased from 25% capacity to 50% capacity.

Our weather keeps going back and forth between hot and cold. I had to turn the A/C on Sunday night to make it cool enough to sleep in the house.

I'm going to get my hair colored and cut today. I need to go to the grocery store, but I'm going to try and wait to do that until I take the tax info to the accountant so I don't have to make two trips over since I need to get an oil change and our mechanic can't do it this week.

Hello ladies, today I walked 4 miles with my walking group, so this is the first day I will hit 10,000+ steps in weeks. Unfortunately, I forgot my Fitbit while walking (left on charger). I'll estimate steps. The snow melted over a week ago, but I was having a spell of insomnia and just couldn't make it happen.

I bought the new Jessica Smith Lift and Shift program yesterday and have done workout 1 and 2.

I'm scheduled for Pfizer vaccine #2 on March 18. My husband had his yesterday and his arm is barely sore.

I'm having problems with my One again. It wouldn't sync yesterday. I did some research on the Fitbit forums and reset it. It finally synced, but did not record any steps since the last time it was synced on Friday afternoon, and I had 8107 steps yesterday when I took it off. I ordered an Inspire from Amazon and it should be here next weekend. If I keep having problems with Fitbit after that, I'm done.

Leslie - That sounds like my luck!

I took the tax info to the accountant on Friday. Yesterday DH and I went to lunch and then went to Northern Tools before going to get groceries. Today we're watching college baseball and he's going to make a couple of pizzas on his grill tonight for supper. We're going to do a sausage, mushroom and bacon pizza and another Margherita pizza.

DH's pizzas turned out great! Even better than the first time he made them a couple of weeks ago and rivaling our favorite pizza restaurant, the Mellow Mushroom. He also grilled a couple of different types of chicken while he had the grill set up so we're good for supper for a few days other than throwing together some side dishes.

I'm going to get my oil changed on Wednesday and DH & I have appointments to get our 1st Pfizer Covid shot next week. MS has just lowered the eligibility age to 50 and over so we qualify now.

Deb - Have you been to see the neurologist yet? If so, were you able to get any answers or relief?

My Inspire was delivered earlier than expected, I got it yesterday. I charged it and got it added to my Fitbit account.

Thanks for asking Sissy. I have an appt 12 Apr. It takes forever to get in to see specialist. I see my PC tomorrow and want to ask him to request an MRI so I'll have that before seeing the neurologist next month.

My exercising is suffering though only because I'm feeling lazy lately. Still walking from time to time. Just got back a little while ago from a 2+ mile walk in the park. Love the longer days.

Leslie, PC ordered some creme for me to apply. So weird, they come and go.

Sissy, so glad you'll be getting vaccinated soon. My town had a vaccine clinic and after they went through the qualified they started with the stand by which we were. So we got both doses of the Moderna.

Well, take care ladies.

Vaccine #1 is done.

I just realized that I did not put my Fitbit on this morning. It’s 1:25 pm.

Today I've walked on the treadmill. No workout yesterday.........horrible night's sleep, plus I was busy with running a few errands and finalizing some paperwork.

Last night I slept great. Perhaps it was due to sleep deprivation the night before and perhaps it was due to listing to "136 Hz Theta | Deep Dream | Binaural Beats " from my InsightTimer App right before bed.

I only got above 10,000 steps twice last week, but one day I got 9,5XX steps. This week has not been a big week for steps either.

I purchased Jessica Smith's Lift and Shift which is keeping me busy.

This was a huge hit at dinner last night and oh so easy. I used one can chickpeas and 1 can cannellini beans (because that's what I had). I also stirred in some arugula/rocket that needed to be used up (in lieu of spinach). I served it with leftover homemade toasted naan bread and it was *yummy*. I made sure to separate Jack's portion before I stirred the baked feta into the bean/tomato/arugula mixture.

It has been a while since I have posted but DH & I are now fully vaccinated and DD gets her second vaccine Thursday morning. I'm at the condo with DD right now. I came up last Friday to go to the baseball games with DD and to help her get the condo cleaned and ready before she comes home for the summer. She got an internship at the Mississippi Aquarium.

I drove up to the condo with the dogs on Friday morning. DD & I went and got lunch and then came back to the condo to feed the dogs and get them settled before we went to the baseball game Friday night. The game went into extra innings and didn't end until 11:28 p.m. I got over 10,000 steps but only because I was clapping a lot during the game. That's the one thing I don't like about the wrist trackers (I'm wearing a Fitbit Inspire now), they can overestimate - or underestimate - your steps based on your arm movements. I want all my steps to count, but I want to actually have taken those steps too. Saturday they played a doubleheader since the weather was supposed to be bad Sunday when game 3 was originally scheduled. We had a great time, but it was another long day. Sunday we were exhausted so we didn't really do much. We went to lunch, did a little shopping and walked around the rose garden. The roses are all in bloom right now so it's really pretty. We also watched the last two episodes of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. DD had to work yesterday so I started washing towels and then I went to lunch with her and one of her friends that she works with. We made a run to Kroger after that. Last night she grilled steaks for supper and we started watching The Mighty Ducks Game Changers. We also started cleaning the condo. She started in the kitchen and I started in the living room. She's working again today and tomorrow and then taking Thursday and Friday off since she gets her shot on Thursday morning.

Before I came up to the condo, I had been making more of an effort to get my steps in recently and I have gotten over 10,000 several times lately. I've also done a few short workouts on my rower.

Deb - How did your appointment with the neurologist go?
