Calorie Burn with Barre, Pilates or Callanetics .. ?

I hope this isn't a silly question, but what kind of calorie burn do you get with these methods? I wear a Polar HR Monitor during my workouts and I'm wondering what to expect. If I don't hit at least the low end of my target rate should I even log it? Mine is between 111-145.

TIA ~

I can't give you the exact calorie burn for each of these but I do Callanetics on a regular basis along with Barre 3 (which definitely has a cardio component to it), and I used to do Pilates a while ago. I wore my HRM with Callanetics once and seem to remember my calorie burn being very close to a very slow moving yoga class so not very much calorie burning at all. With Barre 3, I've logged in at anywhere between 350 and 420 calories and possibly a little higher depending upon the length and intensity. My guess is that Pilates might be a little higher than Callanetics but other people here who do Pilates on a regular basis might have a better answer for you on that one.

No idea. I don’t track calories, calories burned, etc. I do know my heart rate gets elevated and I often sweat a bit with a Pilates by Lisa workout.

Calorie burn calculation depends on fitness level, weight, height, age and more factors.

I remember the following average;

Total Core Pilates 50
UY Crosstrain 100
Pop Physique 60

I worded my question wrong. I know that calorie burn is an individual thing. My question should have been ... should I expect my HR to be elevated with any of these methods? I'm not looking for a specific calorie amount, more of an elevated HR. sorry for the confusion.

There is no confusion. I wanted to point out that is an individual thing.

This is also individual. I don't expect my HR to be elevated above 60% of my max heart rate (Zone 2) with Barre or Pilates. I can increase difficulty by adding resistance. Power Yoga does elevate my HR.

I love barre (including Callanetics) and pilates, but I definitely do NOT reach for these for any kind of a calorie burn or heart rate elevator. I will sweat from the muscular intensity but with little exception (maybe Booty Bar or P57 that are very energetic) I will not get a very noticeable heart rate elevation.
