30 minute circuit workout programs

Hi guys,

I need your expert advice. My daughter is switching to working out at home and is looking for a system to get her bikini ready this summer. She already eats really clean. She is only interested in 30 to 45 (at the most) minute format and only like circuit type workouts. The only thing I can think of that fits the bill is JNL Fusion. But I am not sure my daughter is going to click with all that yelling. Is there anything else you can recommend?

Jillian's Body Revolution is circuit workouts too, but I don't know how much she yells in that (and they are 30 minutes each).

How about the 21 day fix/21day fix extreme? a very pleasant instructor. I did 4 rounds of the original and felt great, and felt like I lost inches, many report lbs. being lost.
cathe hiit? or one of her series?
Firm classics would do it, absolutely! and a few more of the "almost classics""

I haven't done the 21 day fix ones, but I know they are 30 minutes also.

Are the workouts in 21 day fix circuit type. I thought they are straight cardio and lifting, not circuits. Am I wrong?

There is also Weider X-Factor and Firm Express. Brett Hoebel has new 20min circuit workouts too.

  • Tracey Staehle's metabolic conditioning, the strength and cardio ones, can be used together
  • Mike Donavanik Extreme workouts
  • Chris Freytag 10 lb slimdown

Hmmm...that's all I can think of. I don't generally do circuits, and some may not consider these circuits, but I do enjoy them.

Tafiq Extreme Tabata fits the bill perfectly for what you're wanting.

Katami 4x4 system also fits and the workouts clock in around 40-45 minutes.

I also second Chris Freytag's ACE HIIT system.

I'm a circuit girl, too! Cindy Whitmarsh's Ten Days to a Better Body has two, 35-minute cardio/weight circuits, and is one of my alltime favorite workouts, ever. Also love Amy Dixon's Women's Health Ultimate Fat Burn, which is 40 minutes (and the circuits are longer). Jillian's 30 Day Shred has a format I love (3 minutes strength, 2 cardio, 1 abs), but you have to be a Jillian fan, and IIRC the workouts are closer to 20-minutes. But the nice thing is you get 3 of them on one inexpensive DVD!

These are older suggestions, but I think circuits haven't been as popular lately.
