I second the Sunny Health and Fitness bike. I have the SF-B1002. I was able to score mine from Offer Up, still in the box, at a very inexpensive price. I have not have any issues over the 2 1/2 yrs (?) I've had it. The key to avoiding knee pain it to have the bike set up appropriately. There are many You Tube videos to help with this. Good luck in your search.

Offer Up is very similar to Craig's List, if you are more familiar with that.

They can be if you don't have the seat height adjusted properly. If you get a bike, make sure to check YouTube for videos on how to find the correct seat height, forward/aft position, and handlebar height and position. You might also want to try to find tips on proper position for riding out of the saddle if you intend to do that.

What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?
