9 week control freak

I can’t find my original thread but wanted to report back on this program but I just started phase 2. I am loving it! I’m not usually a cardio fan, so the way she has the tabatas interspersed is making me actually do them. I love the moves on the track.

I’m following the rotation and really trying to not over stress my body (which I have been doing) and actually take the rest days. I had to laugh because she said in one of the workouts “I have rest days built in for a reason. That doesn’t mean do another program or workout “. Uh oh. So after the first week I am resting when she says rest.

I bought the control track. It came with bands.

A door. It’s not an ideal location for me but I’m in a rental place. Once I’m home it will be perfect.

Sue, I have previewed some of the workouts and this looks really good! I need to find a solution for using the control track in my house. I workout in our tv room which has 2 swinging doors and that doesn't work. The only location where we have a door swinging in the correct direction would put me working out in the hallway or on the front porch. I do notice a lot of people doing this system in their hallway. I will work on it.

I do like how the control track uses the strength of the door instead of looping on the hinges or door frame. I have messed up hinges in the past and it isn't pretty.

I am LOVING this too! So much I started doing the off the wall week after the control track week. Its fun, quick but you know your worked after. I couldn't believe all the bonus content too!

Sorry I have one more question - how much space do you need in front of the door to workout? I can install the track on the door for pulling movements but I don’t have enough space for the step. I tried to look at the sample workout but she doesn’t even use the control track in that’s workout. Thanks!

I’m not sure I understand. You need it completely free for quite a bit of space because you have to pull it away from the wall to get the tension. I have a ton of room in front, but not a lot from side to side and can’t take as big of steps as she does.

The Off the Wall version uses just weights. No other equipment needed.
