Vannie, glad the appt with the PT offered the advice of staying away from the knife! She sure gave you lots to think about. It will be interesting to see what the 2nd opinion is.

Yesterday I got a good walk in plus a few youtube clips. I'm getting back into the habit of using the pedometer and my distance has improved from last summer. I also rehomed an extra exercise mat that's been cluttering up my exercise/computer room for quite a few years. Between that and some hobby items getting rehomed, I'm starting to see more space in that room which is so nice!

I know it seems like I post only when I want to complain. Guess what? My right ear is now retaining fluid. I am getting a tube put in that one Tuesday. I cannot tell you how frustrated I am right now.

Vannie, thank you for getting the August thread up. Hopefully I will be 100% for the first time in what seems like years.

Helen, I love that you embroider. I used to, now I just cross stitch. I have been working on The Last Supper for the last 7 months.

Thanks for getting the August thread up Vannie!

Oh MT, so sorry you have to go through it again with another ear tube. I hope this is successful and you can be done with it.

Last night I did a dvd finally. It's been a long time. I chose Barbara Benagh's Yoga for Stress Relief, passive neck segment. I have to say, it is super relaxing and I practically fall asleep with that one. I also did a Upright Health sidelying hip follow along which I let go a while. He recommends twice a week so I'm going to try to stick with that. Dog walks are going well. I would walk all day if I could.

Understand the 7 months completely!! The embroidery I was intending to get back to is for one of my DDs - I offered, years ago, to make quilts for them. One wanted hers completely done in applique (slow but manageable) but the other wants one made of 16 large squares (think large couch throw cushions) that are embroidered with floral patterns! Doing them in a theme of green (leaves) & purple (flowers). Have completed just two. She may end up getting (fewer than 16) cushions.

Thank you Vannie for setting up the August thread!

MT, sorry to hear about the other ear. I hope August is a better month for you.

I worked out Friday morning, and then came down with shingles Friday afternoon. So I'm sidelined from exercise for awhile. I'm on antiviral meds, and they are helping. I hope to be back to exercising in a couple of weeks.

Yikes Sherry! My DB had that years ago. It sounded very painful. I hope you have a mild case and it heals up quickly for you.

I got my second tube today. It was amazing how much better I felt instantly.

Sherry, you poor thing. My DGF has shingles on his face. It was terrible. I hope you are better soon.

Bring on August!
