Endurance vs. Strength for Glutes
I recently very randomly came across this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBa-EtVvSks and it's given me some food for thought. Not that I want to grow a huge butt -- nothing wrong with that if it's your thing, but I am 57, so not sure it's even in the cards -- but I could always do with some firming and lifting!! I'm wondering people's thoughts on this vs. something like all the endurance work of Tonique, Barlates, etc. I am sure if nothing else I would benefit from the activation stuff because I've been through some of that with physical therapy. Thoughts? |

Bee, thanks for linking to that YT channel! I've just watched a few of their videos and found them informative.
I love doing weighted glute raises. Easier on the back and knees than squats or lunges. They give my pancake butt a little shape. I haven't done the frog style. This tutorial is very good: Best Hip Thrust For Glute Gains https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8twog5p2ObE
