That’s exactly how I described the game to someone - like Mastermind for words. I love that game as well.

I have been hooked on Wordle for a couple of weeks now. It’s great to be limited to once a day, so you don’t get sick of it. My only complaint - the American spelling of words. It’s favour, not favor!

Interesting, because it was developed in the UK, so you'd think they'd use the "our" version of the word, except that "favour" is six letters and wouldn't work in their five-letter grid.

this is on-topic, in my opinion because it would be good Exercise for brain Fitness.

Thanks for the tip!

Yes, I love it. Not as much of a time commitment as a crossword puzzle and less frustrating than Sudoku.
I have gotten a few friends hooked too!

I just played it! Got today's on my 4th try. It's fun and made me slow down and think!

I love Duolingo! I splurged on a premium account as a holiday present to myself.

I started playing wordle last weekend. The grids of colored squares were all over twitter so I wanted to see what the fuss was about.

My daughter and I text each other our results from our beds in the morning. I got it in 2 tries once and that was exciting.

I like logic and sudoku-type puzzles a lot too. I've subscribed to puzzlemix.com for a few years. They have new free puzzles every day too. The site creator is a super nice guy. He added free puzzles for the pandemic and gave all subscribers a free year after he had not given us the variety of puzzles he was supposed to.

I wordle also. I got hooked after Xmas, and have done it every day since. As for the labour vs labor thing, I read that the guy who developed the game is from Brooklyn NY, although he uses a British server for some reason. Hence the American spelling.
