home depot

they are just those big dense foam blocks...about an inch thick and 2 feet square. they look like big square puzzle pieces. you'll find that alot of people around here swear by them and i am certainly happy to have got them! hope the same solution will work for you!

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. Do you know what these mats are normally for? We don't have home depot here and on their website I can't find anything that looks like what you are talking about.

Is it some insolation material, or some exercise material?

Thanks again,

Laetitia

foam rubber

they are just a thick foam rubber mat. I have seen them at all kinds of different places. The home depot near me was oiut of them, but I found mine at Zellers, a chain here in Canada. Quite often they are used to insulate floors in play rooms for children. Alot of us around here use them to provide extra cushion on cement floors (in basements) where our workout rooms are.

Check at any hardware or building supply stores. You can also order online from http://www.greatmats.com/

Note about Tv/vcr combo

I had terrible luck with the inexpensive tv/vcr combo I bought at Sears--and with the two replacements they provided when it kept breaking. I finally gave up.

If you can possibly swing it, I recommend a small tv and a separate vcr/dvd to go with it. You might pay that much for a vcr/tv combo that's not worthless anyway.

Floor Mats

Ziggy,

Thanks for the link to Great Mats. I was looking for something to put in the basement. I think I'll try these. Are you happy with yours?

More on Mats

I just checked K-mart.com and they have the interlocking exercise pads too.

I like them so far.

I was going to try them out on my living room floor as a floor for when i do HiLo but haven't yet. I thought maybe they would let me turn easier than the carpet does... but for sound dampening, I'm very happy. Now if my UR tapes would just hurry up an arrive then i can really get some use out of that rebounder!
