Sherry, I hope your arm gets better soon. I am impressed that you lifted 42 pounds of kitty litter.

Vannie, Next time you feel the need to deep clean a kitchen come this way. I make mean Italian Margarita!

Katie, I'm doing pretty well on my goals this month. I hope you get to get outside soon.

I got a massage Tuesday. I feel better. I am going to go weekly for a while.

We got good news tonight. We have been waiting on a certain person to retire. She did tonight. June 30 is our happy day! Celebrate with me!

Happy Birthday MT! I'd love to join you for an Italian Margarita! Sounds yummy. I'm glad you had a good massage.

Vannie, way to go with all the minutes and exercising. I need to do more. I did do a dvd segment from Yoga for Beginners and Beyond, the Posture Primer plus most of the chair segment.

Sherry, hope you've recovered from the tricep aggravation. That sounded painful.

We've had some rain/mixed w/snow yesterday and today and now will drop into the single digits for about 3 days so more ice for a while. But at least those low temps will be just for a few days. I plan on getting some tax info ready for the accountant and more dvd's.

I only have till the 31st to finish this jump rope challenge and then it's only available to people who pay for the app. I would normally not do so many in a day but I really want to finish it! I have realized that one reason I like jumping rope is bc it's both mindless and mindful at the same time. It's mindless in that I don't have to worry about choreography and it's mindful in that I can't let my mind wander or I will get off rhythm and trip. I listen to music but I have to focus on the rhythm of the rope and that keeps me in the moment, from my mind wandering. It's been very meditative for me, besides being a good workout. When I run my mind wanders and sometimes that's a good thing but I'm really loving jumping rope for this reason. That being said, on Wednesday I am planning to only do yoga to give my body a little rest!

Happy Birthday, MT! And I'm glad you can celebrate that person's retirement.

My tricep is better, healing every day. I'm tentatively planning on a light strength workout on Monday.

Sherry, I am glad you are doing better.

Vannie, I loved to jump rope, but my bladder will not allow that anymore. TMI.

Katie, I'd love to mix you an Italian Margarita. I have some other great Amaretto Recipes.

It is raining today. There is snow in our forecast for next week. We'll see. I want our kids to know the pure joy of a snow day instead of having to work from home.

"Katie, I'd love to mix you an Italian Margarita. I have some other great Amaretto Recipes." Interesting MT! I wondered what the secret ingredient was! I hope your kids can get a true snow day in as well. They should be able to experience snowball fights and building snowmen.

Vannie, I really loved to jump rope too for all the reasons you've described. I think it's one of the best exercises there is(along with walking). As many improvements that I've made, I'm not up to snuff for that. But that would be a fabulous indoor exercise for these wintery days that are too severe for the great outdoors.

Sherry, I'm glad you are healing up.

Yesterday we made homemade chili to enjoy through this next cold spell. I'm having some for breakfast with an egg on top....trying to max the protein. I also did Barbara Benagh's passive neck stretch in the evening. It seems to help relax me before going to bed. I should do it more. It's in the single digits today so I'm organizing tax info.

I met my January goals with a little help from my weight loss for the month.

We are on Snow Day number 2. Actually we are having ice days.
