I'm not sure how I even found this channel since I wasn't looking for yoga but I'm looking forward to trying her "If you only have 10 minutes" series.

Vanny, Lizard is the name that's usually used in hatha, whereas Dragon is Yin.

I managed to do a 25 minute Yoga with Tim practice yesterday despite technology frustrations!

About 17 minutes
Day 25 (1/31): yantra Day 26 (2/01): incense (image) Day 27 (2/02): visualization (light) Day 28 (2/03): flower (image) Day 29 (2/04): asana (sensations in savasana) Day 30 (2/05): mantra Day 31 (2/06): breathing (awareness) Day 32 (2/07): candle (image) 1st period of 8 days 2nd period of 8 days 3rd period of 8 days I still don't have any obvious preferences. I also did 2 sun salutations today as a bit of a test: my stamina is generally improving, but I've lost flexibility. I'm optimistic that I'll regain more of both, but first I have more medical procedures scheduled for after the sadhana. (I'm considering using sun salutations as part of my recovery--sun salutations and other repetitive bodily movements don't generally bore me.) My "promised" engagements with other topics: - I considered the possibility of something like 40 days of yoga nidra, but I've done something like that and wanted to try something a bit different while I wasn't much tempted to try something more strenuous. - Will I do something like these meditations in the future? I'll have to see what I'll do with my schedule after two primary medical crises and related problems pass, as I hope, but I'm more likely to use any timeslots for "meditative activities" doing something somewhat different. Even so, at least this experience is confirming my guess that different forms of meditative objects are roughly equally appealing to me. (And if I were trying a sampler, I'd still want to try other techniques, such as other things from the original book and from other sources.) - I've read some more things about the interaction between meditation and something called heart rate variability (HRV), but I'll probably not to anything concrete and specific until later, maybe when home tracking improves. Later: more about body scans and the like.

Today was Day #39 and I practiced with Rodney Yee.
Tomorrow I'm hoping to do Yoga: Altar of the Heart to finish, but I might not have the stamina for it on a weekday...we'll see.
