RIGHT????? I cannot do weight workouts with her anymore. I sometimes want to scream at her to shut up for just two minute but she is so gifted at putting routines together.

Erica, I just read this. Your anxiety is so understandable with a mom like that and the concussion. I can't imagine being so afraid of someone who was supposed to love and care for you. I'm so sorry.

My muscles told me there was absolutely no way they were doing another weight workout today. I plan to day Fuel day 8 tomorrow. My sister is moving on Saturday but hopefully I can do day 9 on Saturday and and day 10 on Monday. Then I may take a few days for cardio and mobility before starting week 3. My neck (accident stuff) is really acting up tonight. There is a lot of clicking and clacking and my head/neck hurts all in the back. I should have done gentle stretching/mobility.

Too funny about CDorner and her talking. I don't know why I subscribe to her still. I did one or two of her workouts a long time ago and couldn't bring myself to try any others - mostly because of the chatter.

Angela, thanks for your support. I had a very traumatic childhood and my father also suffered from debilitating anxiety so it's hard to say how much of it is nature vs. nurture but I guess it doesn't matter - I need to get it treated. I hope your neck feels better soon. Taking some days off soon for stretching/mobility sounds like a good idea if you are sore and hurting!

I did Epic 3 Day 1 legs again today.

Barbell with 60lb. weights
Barbell pad
Stability ball
That big round mat
Tubing with handles
I am determined to stay on the workout wagon come what may. I'm about to change and to Fuel Day 8.

Erica - why not post for all to see - it was the day before my monthly and the symptoms have gotten worse with age. I'm fine today. I put a pain gel on last night and a heating pad and took 3 Tylenol because all of a sudden I had a horrid headache from my neck all the way up the back of my head. Thankfully, I fell asleep, slept heavy, and woke up all better.

Angela- Congrats on the big fitness purchase! I would love to have a barbell, but I absolutely do not have room for it. And I'm glad you're feeling better after a good night's sleep.

Erica- I quit subscribing to CDorner a while ago, but the cardio workout Angela mentioned looked fun so I decided to give her another try. I just can't deal with her talking even though the workout was good.

Today's workout- M. Briehler- Upper body Push workout w/stability ball. I did quite a bit of yardwork so only a 30 minute workout for me today. I like to lift weights using the stability ball, but I'm a bit nervous about it since I read on here someone broke their wrist when their stability ball burst while they were using it to lift weights. My stability ball is very old, but I don't use it much so it should be okay. Now that I think about it, it might be a good idea to replace it.

LOL! She really does not have a nano second of quiet in her workouts. I don't know how she can talk through every minute of the workout. Speaking of CDorder Fitness I did the WU from her 45 Minute Cardio Mash Up and Stretch, then I did Fuel Day 8. I went back to the 45 Minute Cardio Mash Up and lasted about 5 minutes. Enough to get some kinks out, then I did the fabulous stretch at the end. Yes, she talked non-stop through the stretch...NON-STOP, but it was a very good stretch. Fuel Day 8 was tough enough but did not leave me slayed.

I have a 4 day weekend coming up. I will take some work home but it's doable. I am so ready for a break.

Angela, how fun that you have so many new fitness items coming! Glad you got some rest and that it made you feel better. I forgot about your four day weekend! Yay - enjoy!

Wendy - make sure you get an anti-burst stability ball when you buy a new one. I still feel it's risky for lifting weights but less so. I used to use the ball as a weight bench sometimes but don't do it anymore. I saw that Michele push workout and that she also posted a pull one as well. How did you like the push workout?

I repeated the workout I did a few days ago - IRON Day 12 (chest/triceps) plus the first 10 minutes of Iron Day 13 (back work) and then five minutes of shoulders on my own. Great workout. Tough brain day for me. It's so frustrating - I feel like I'm not a functioning human some days.

Angela- Enjoy your 4 day weekend!

Erica- Sorry you had a tough brain day. I hope with time it gets better. Michelle's Push workout is just okay. I would have preferred doing each block 3 times instead of 2 and leaving the lower ab work as an add on. But since I did so much yard work I just wanted something short so I guess it fit the bill. Thanks for the recommendation for an anti-burst stability ball. I think I'll put one on my Christmas wish list!

Today I decided to try one of our VFer's workout (severin817) from her YT site. Laura Wells Fitness- 30 Minute Cardio Shadow Boxing. I really enjoyed it. It is good quality, she talks (but not chatty talking) and gives form pointers. I requested step boxing workouts and strength- both heavy and slow and light and fast from her. I'm excited to see what she comes out with!

After Laura's workout I added on Michelle Briehler's 20 Minute Standing Cardio Abs with wrist & ankle weights. Adding this to Laura's shadow boxing workout had my core on fire! It is a great workout combo!
