Do you also tell what weights you are using?

Yes I do.

Wanted to thank FanofLadyVols for asking this question on Cathe's forum last week:

"I have asked and customer service (Thanks , Nancy!) told me the new barbell being offered has been successfully tested for 200#.

I'm wondering if there are any plans in the works to offer a set of 25# plates.

If not, (and that's ok if it's not feasible) then I'm wondering if using regular old school iron weight plates can be used with the new barbell?

Just wondering if the barbell is only recommended for use with the vinyl covered cement mixture core weight plates."

Admin reply:

Hi Lady Vol. perhaps in the future, but we don't have any current plans to do so.

Deleted my comment because I remembered Cathe is a smaller person.

That said, I think that she was at least that strong before she started. 75 pounds is nothing for someone who is an experienced lifter like her, even for reps.

The total body workout phase will have you doing the weight workouts three days a week (and if you’re feeling extra seasoned you can do a fourth per week).

If you’re doing All
Upper/All Lower body workouts you’ll be lifting weights 4 days per week.

The one body part per day phase will have you doing weight workouts six days per week.

Within any of these work out weeks you can squeeze in 2 to 4 cardio workouts per week depending on your preference. They can be done on your weight days or on their own days.

Recovery days can be done on their own day or worked in after your weight or cardio workouts.

You should always have one solid rest day where your body is just enjoying a day off of working out.

Also it’s important to mention that workout programs don’t always have to work on a 7 day weekly basis. You may want to do 4 days of cardio workouts and lift weights on 4 separate days plus add on a rest day after that. Therefore your rotation might change every 9 days instead of 7.

And finally we will have different rotations suggested that might fit the bill perfectly for you. So try not to overthink it too much right now.

I love that she mentions a 9 day rotation. I always struggle with thinking in a calendar week.

Any Canadian ordering? My conversion calculator is giving me $165 CAD, on their site it is $175 CAD, shipping free, plus rights and taxes (??), the whole thing is $201.20 CAD, I thought any additional costs was our "responsibility"... I guess my days of pre-ordering are long gone. I hate that new global site thing.

On the other side, the only "equipment" listed that I don't have is the step mini mat. I should probably consider becoming a PT I am well equipped already!

Yes, thank you! I ordered as soon as I got the email but it’s still nice to read all this information.

It’s sad that the Fit Tower folks went out of business. We love our FT and the CS folks were always so nice when I called them.

Yes, thank you ChelePA! I'm not on facebook so all the info is helping to satisfy my curiosity (even though I was going to preorder no matter what).
