What is the typical timeline for a Cathe release? Like how long after filming starts does the presale start? And how long does the presale usually last? I've only done a preorder once and don't remember.

OMG, I am beyond excited that Kristin was cast!!!! I've been saying forever I thought it'd be cool to see her cast in the DVDs, and there she is!!!! And AL!!!!! So thrilled!

I zoomed in on the picture on her forum and its Cathe branded 10lb plates on the barbells. I wonder if they are rubber coated iron weight plates (like the Troy Lite system) or if they are like Duracast weight plates that have an outside casing with filling like concrete inside. I'm guessing they are like Duracast weight plates based on the "caps" or little circles you can see on the edge of some of the plates depending how they are turned.

(I cannot believe I am up this late speculating about what barbell brand and type Cathe is using in her next series!)

adawn So funny because I was wondering the same thing! The additional thought or question I have is I wonder how long it will take to produce them and ship to us...the bands I know were a headache to get off the dock.

Vantreesta I have only been involved in presales lately and they were small sets. I imagine that the large number of workouts would make a difference in the farm to table timeframe. Maybe someone who preordered Xtrain can remember?

Interesting about the weight plates having her logo. The barbell pad and weight clips are already for sale on Cathe.com:

I think this is the first time she has filmed before offering a pre-sale that I can remember. Normally it was a few months from concept/pre-sale offer to filming and then the post production time.

When NFL produced STS, it took longer but hopefully with in house production it’ll be sooner. I wonder if she’ll wait until filming wraps to start the pre-sale?

Getting so excited! The set looks great. 15 DVDs is more than I was expecting. Can't wait to hear more about it!
