Not feeling the love for YouTube walking workouts

This morning I tried 3 different walking workouts on YouTube. I managed to complete the first one but stopped each of the others after 10 minutes. I thought they were too slow but what I REALLY hated is that the moves weren’t done in time to the music. Am I the only one who hates this? It drives me nuts.

Which instructors did you try?

I've tried several YouTube walking instructors. I do like a handful, but the others are not for me.

Either they are off the beat, or the music is way too loud or way too low or poor quality. Then, there is the manic optimism which usually manifests itself in yelling. I can handle cheerful and perky, but not shouting. Some talk non-stop, making Leslie appear reticent.

Yes. I am picky, picky, picky!

Leslie Sansone has some on You Tube that are fine - the usual Leslie stuff if you like that. I also like the Paul Eugene walking workouts.

Yep, the Leslie/Nick, Gina, etc. ones are fine. It’s the not so well known walkers I have a problem with.

i have bookmarked countless youtube walking workouts that VFers have posted about, but I rarely try them, resorting to my tried and true DVDs. i think I've actually done maybe one of Jessica Smith's on her youtube channel a long time ago.

recently, I noticed that Linda Wooldridge has posted a few steady-state cardio workouts, but haven't actually tried them.

I like all three in the last post.

Reps to the Rhythm just posting a boxing/walking workout that looks fun.

Brand Fitness has a 70s/80s walk that I want to try, but it's an hour long. I may break it in half. I can do an hour of cardio, but not an hour of walking based cardio. It bugs my hip flexors.
