I’m a big fan of resistance bands and the loops are even better.. they cut you fast fast fast especially if you are doing good solid cardio after or before, I have had better results than w weights. Kickboxing has always improved strength and fat loss also tonique is great if your looking to really tone quick. Then bands really make my muscles pop while taking away the fluff. I always get the big broad look w heavyweights but the strength I get from bands is even better for some reason and I feel more “open” not so contracted while smaller in size overall.

So everyone is different so YMMV.
I try to eat clean but I can't say no to hot Cheetos
I do better with heavy weights mixed with cardio.
A few years ago I lost weight and really toned up with JNL Fusion. I found the videos fun, motivating and varied enough to do the whole rotation.

Recently what has been working for me is KCM's Build and Burn set followed by a 2-3 mile walk and a good stretch. I've lost 5 lb but look like I've lost more. Like JNL I'm finding the workouts fun and varied enough that I haven't gotten bored in the last month.

Hope this helps. I also find that when I stop stressing about my eating that it helps to keep from obsessing about it.

Thanks! Strong is by Cosgrove and Schuler. It's the replacement for New Rules of Lifting for Women, and a much better book overall.

I'm following the 30minute rotation Option #1. Scroll down on this page for rotations.

Great! Thanks so much. Her rotations look so doable for me. I really should try it

Sorry to keep hijacking, but which workouts are you using the bands with?

I’m sorry I was away for awhile, Denise Austin has some great utube videos especially for the upper body. Just google Denise Austin resistance bands. Jessica smith also has a nice one that is cardio and bandwork together.

Good luck

I think Slim in 6 and/or Slim Series is great for this!

Thanks, I will definitely check them both out. I went looking through my dvds and found several band workouts too.
