That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand."

Method Precision Toning with Jannifer Kries. It was a long workout and fairly difficult.

Stepping Strength from Jessica Smith's Get Strong (thank you, Gemini for sharing the wealth! )

It was my first time doing this workout. I did Strictly Strength the day after the dvd arrived (12/6 or so), but the next day (following a high impact cardio workout), my left arch was hurting so I had to put off doing most lower body work. I loved Strictly Strength, even though I was longing to go to the floor for a break, then I remembered it has NO floor work. haha But I made it through.

For Stepping Strength used 3, 5, and 8 although I guess at times I could go heavier but she doesn't allow much time to switch. You do 16 or 8 reps, depending on the move, and like some workouts in Strong and Centered, we do one side before doing the other, then both sides. I love this type of training. She works you but doesn't kill you, and she even says something like, 'we want to build you up, not tear you down'. The second set of squat to shoulder press REALLY got my heart up, and I was only using 8s. By the end of the workout I was sweating a little, and was glad to see she and Beth were sweaty, too.

This turned out to be a longer mini-review than I thought. oops
