Imhere2dance - Congrats! It sounds like you have had a good things series going!

ChelePA - Aaaaawwwwww. How cute is the new addition to your family! Enjoy the process.

It warmed my heart to see this thread revived because I love good news. I hope more people will chime in.

In my life, I decided to write a book. Several people over the years have told me that I should write a book on everything I know about gluten-free and dairy-free eating and traveling and living, so this year I decided to do that. My husband was diagnosed with gluten and dairy intolerances in 2008, so I have a lot of knowledge stored up. I recently passed page 100, so I feel like I'm going to have enough to say.

We found out today that our homeowners insurance is going to cover the roof damage from last January's wind storm. We were skeptical that it would happen since it took so long to hear from them. Whew!

That is ALWAYS a "whew!". Hopefully, the rest of the process will go smoothly.

I got home a few hours ago after visiting my family in AZ for three weeks. It was wonderful to spend time with them and also thankful for safety while traveling. I almost took out a small car who was driving without lights and a semi ran me off the road onto the shoulder and he absolutely knew I was there bc he kept riding up on me then falling back. I was going exactly the speed limit and he blared his horn as he passed me. The Lord was most definitely looking out for me!
