Question The best *paper* workout log?

Yes, I said paper. I have iPhone logs, etc. And I'm tired of using them. Just this year, after using an app for logging my workouts for almost ten years, I got fed up and went retro. I mark my workout of the day on a paper calendar.

Sad to say, I am no good at working with any kind of spreadsheet program. I'm not bothered to have to learn Excel to log workouts. I'd like something pre-printed rather than make one myself. (Hey there, lazy girl!)

So, any (the larger the print and writing area the better) paper workout logs? One focused just on weight-training would be good, but I'd like to be able to log all my fitness activities.

TIA!

If you go to a bookstore, there are plenty of workout logs you can buy. However, I get frustrated if I use videos, because there's no place to log them in. Instead you have to log in each exercise (if you're doing weights) which I don't have the patience to do on most days.

Instead I just keep a daily record on my computer (in word) where I simply write what I did that day. I write as much or as little as I feel like recording, but at least log in the basic workout.

I know a Vf member created a great printable log. I will do a search later when I am not on my kindle.

I do that, too...in my Google calendar (which I print out).

I don't care for computer logs either. I've used this one for several years:

Easy Workout Journal

Since I don't do weights with reps, etc., I just write the workout of the day I've done. I also can write my weight, how I felt, and the reason I took off if I was sick or whatever.

VF has an old page that has workout logs on it. (Remember, these are OLD). But, you might find something you could print out and write on here - http://videofitness.com/workoutlogs/.

I also have some files that I have used that I can send you. I tried uploading them, but they're either too big or the file name is invalid or something else.

ETA: oops, I see the link to print it out was removed, and that you posted on that thread! I'm sorry!

Sunday, that looks good! The Amazon preview doesn't show the actual pages, unfortunately.

There's also Body Minder. I've been using their food log, Diet Minder, and I liked it enough to buy a second one when I finished the first. You can see a sample page from Body Minder here.

I also kind of liked FitBook, which lets you organize a 12-week plan/rotation, and has weekly wrap-ups and other extras, but it is about twice as expensive as similar journals.

I've used this log for the last year. I like it! Nothing fancy, but functional.
